1. License Grant
Subject to these Terms, Misrule Studios grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Tabbee on devices you own or control for personal or commercial productivity purposes.
2. Local-First Architecture & Data Sovereignty
Tabbee operates locally on your machine. You retain 100% full and unencumbered ownership of your saved tabs, URLs, collection metadata, and sessions. Misrule Studios does not host, sync, or control your private tab data. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your saved tab collections via the built-in JSON export feature.
3. Permitted & Prohibited Uses
You agree that you will not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Tabbee for malicious purposes or to distribute malware.
- Use Tabbee in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Re-bundle, white-label, or sell Tabbee under a deceptive name on the Chrome Web Store.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
Tabbee is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. While we maintain rigorous unit tests and rolling snapshot mechanisms, Misrule Studios does not warrant that Tabbee will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every third-party browser modification or Chrome flag.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Misrule Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of business, or browser crashes, arising out of or related to your use of Tabbee.
6. Updates and Modifications
We may update Tabbee from time to time via the Chrome Web Store to introduce new capabilities, fix bugs, or maintain compatibility with new Chromium releases. Continued use of Tabbee after any update constitutes acceptance of the modified software and terms.
